Making an Appointment at FaCES

All infants, children, and youth, from birth to eighteen years old, who are placed in foster homes through Worcester East and Worcester West area offices of the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, are eligible to have medical evaluations at FaCES. Our goal is to have children seen for a screening visit as soon as possible, preferably within seven days of initial placement in foster care. A follow- up comprehensive visits is idea scheduled within one month after placement.

While the Worcester East and Worcester West offices will refer all newly placed children to FaCES, we also encourage foster parents to call as soon as a child is placed in their home so that we can schedule an early screening appointment. Please call (774) 443-7962 and our clinic coordinator, Taina Pabon, will help with scheduling and getting medical records for the visit.
